Operational focus:

Knee arthroscopy & knee prosthetics

all arthroscopic interventions

  • Cartilage
  • Meniscus
  • Ligament injuries
  • All arthroscopic interventions including meniscus-preserving meniscal sutures
Knee prosthetics:

In the clinics in which I perform surgical procedure, only tried and tested prostheses of the last generation are used. In order to achieve the best possible result, it is important to me to analyse the preoperative X-ray image exactly and to use the data obtained for the precise planning of the operation. All operations I perform are explained in detail to the patient and any risks are discussed.

Hip
  • Artificial hip joint (cementless)
Hand
  • Finger jerking
  • Nerve constrictions (carpal tunnel syndrome)
Forefoot
  • Hallux valgus (Hammer toes)
  • Morton's neuroma (neural growth)
  • Metatarsalgias
Shoulder
  • Arthroscopic interventions (removal of calcium, bursa removal, etc.)

Conservative focus

all infiltration techniques (pain therapy)

ACP Self-blood therapy

Since spring 2012, I have also been offering autologous blood infiltration in my ordination. Approx. 15 ml of blood are taken from the patient, separated into two phases in a centrifuge, and the phase rich in growth factors is injected into the affected joint or body region for cartilage or tissue regeneration. No other substances are added to the blood. Three to five injections are recommended.

The most common indications are:

  • Arthrosis of the large joints
  • Sports injuries (muscle and tendon injuries)
  • Tendon attachment problems such as heel spurs and tennis elbow
Shock wave

I have been using and appreciating this successful form of therapy since 1998. As one of the first users in Austria, I can draw on a wealth of experience.

  • The shock wave is an excellent method of therapy for:
  • Calcareous shoulder
  • Tennis elbow
  • Muscle injuries
  • Changes in the attachment of tendons
  • Achilles tendon pain and irritation
  • Patellar tip syndrome
Infant ultrasound
  • In the first week of life, the necessary ultrasound examinations are usually carried out in the hospital, between the 6th and 8th week of life another ultrasound examination is necessary. You can also have this carried out in my ordination.
More conservative treatments
  • Osteopathy
  • Neural therapy
  • Infiltration therapy
  • Chirotherapy
