Originally from Spittal an der Drau, medical studies in Vienna, graduating in 1980. After training as a general practitioner specialised training in gynaecology at Wilhelminen Hospital in the department of Prof. Baumgarten. Own practice since 1988, since then also attending and consulting physician, mainly at the Rudolfinerhaus, the leading private hospital in Vienna.
